Just over there
I had “Tomb Raider”, the original movie on perpetual play, more or less, all day in the hopes it would be inspirational. It didn’t happen other than something very vague involving sand, motorcycles, and “Welcome to Sunnydale”…
On the other hand… seeing Uma Therman in the campy “Avengers” movie… led to a crossover drabble…
Beware when the bad guys start getting exposition-y. You know something is about to happen.
Is it a late night or early morning ? Yes, it’s another messed up sleep schedule… sleep for 4 hours, awake for 6, sleep for another hour… and then go to work… ugh!
Added another drabble to the drabble ideas list. By itself it isn’t a crossover.
And off we go… headed into another Monday. And for some inexplicable reason, Fox News keeps showing a satellite photo of a hurricane and Geraldo Rivera. Maybe I should turn the sound up ?
It’s not the only good fanfic out there but if you are looking for a Harry Potter/BtVS crossover story focused around Dawn that is well written and shows a good understanding of the characters in both venues check out Don Sample’s Harry Potter and the Key of Dagon. He’s posting a new chapter approximately twice a week.
Thinking about the story I’ve started working on… planning it too much seems to be sucking the enthusiasm right out of it… Fortunately, I believe I’ve laid enough groundwork and just need to start writing…
I can see why some people writing fanfic become feedback junkies. I’m sort of stuck in the middle. I want to know what people think of things I’ve written but I don’t want to release it to the world until it’s done. How do I reconcile the two conflicting desires ? No idea just yet. Maybe I’ll add comments to my story pages here.
I’m trying a fanfic experiment. I’m using my blog as an organizing tool for a specific story. Writing in plain sight. Sort of. We’ll see how well that goes.
