Standing On Boxes

Threw a couple little ficlets upon on ff.net. Had to get a ff.net login, a psuedo-phonetic name seemed best since their little ‘pen-name’ checker doesn’t like some names.

As a result, got the weirdest review I’ve seen. Never had my fic writing called ‘cliched’ before. Not sure if I should be amused or annoyed.

Finished my Faith/Lara Croft story. 5100 words of non-exposition. Too bad I still didn’t end up doing much action writing. Maybe next time.

I’ve added a page with links to most of the real locations mentioned in this story. Some I’ve been to, some not, some I’ve only seen from the outside.

I started out to write an action fic… and it didn’t happen. The action is the least important part of the whole story. Maybe I should write an action scene and wrap a fic around it?

Finally… last part of that story goes up today… now I can work on something else.

I think someone broke USEnet tonight. Or at least the newsfeed to/from Giganews. I posted something there a few hours ago and it hasn’t shown up on Google yet. And none of the active groups I peruse have been updated in 3 hours. Broken, obviously.

Weird weather. To me anyway.

Updating/changing the story pages that refer to my Red Raider fanfic. It was getting confusing.

I’m assuming it is something environmental. Probably not enough ventilation. I don’t get them when I have the heat going or the A/C. I’ll figure it out eventual.

Not sure why but it feels that way.

It was in the 70s yesterday and should be the same today… can’t believe it’s the first week in March!
