Standing On Boxes

I’ve added links all over the place in my fic Girl in a Bar in an attempt to make it easier to read the entire 13 part series chronologically.

Just spent a few hours rearranging my Fanfic pages – splitting it up into Ideas, Works in Progress, and Completed Fics. Hopefully it’ll make it easier to find things.

Still some work needed. The Red Raider’verse background pages need to be updated. There’s nothing in there for some stories – like the whole series of Faith stories. And the whole thing needs a better timeline.

So much for a safe place to store the little black car.

A tornado almost knocked down my mother’s barn the other day. She doesn’t live anywhere near ‘Tornado Alley’ so this was a bit of a surprise.

I keep seeing E30′s everywhere… (It’s a model of car made by BMW for a few years in the 80′s). I want to bring mine out of storage and drive it around…

Such a strange week so far… some more work on a fic but nothing finished.

Doing the hotel thing right now…

It’s nice having internet access in my room… EXCEPT it seems to be tied to the ethernet address of my laptop… and I have two with me right now…(work and personal) I don’t know if I’ll get charged double because I’ve plugged both of them in and each time I had to ‘register’ (but it shows only one charge to my room) or if there’s something weird about the hotel’s setup.

Guess I’ll find out. I can afford it but it is weird… and not cheap…

Didn’t spend a lot of time working on fics while in Orlando but I now have a first draft of the next installment of ‘The Two’ all set. Just needs some tweaking. And I need to finish that part of ‘The Other Girl’

Maybe this weekend…

The free admission is taxable.

Let’s think about this for a moment.

Okay…

If something is taxed it isn’t free is it? This probably falls under the same rules as lotteries. Except the people holding the event get to hold onto the “tax money” for a few weeks/months until they have to report it to the taxman. So… the people attending pay something, the people holding the event get the interest made while the money is in the bank, and the tax man gets the taxes… sounds like a loophole to me.

I’m assuming I misunderstood… because there is no way this could be legal.

Okay, it isn’t quite finished. But I now have just enough done on the first chapter of my fic ‘The Other Girl’ for it to be considered a first draft.

Okay, that is not ice cream.

I’m not a big connoisseur of ice cream. I pretty much like any kind. So… I picked up some cheap mint chocolate chip when I went shopping last time. It looks sort of like ice cream… a bit greener than I expected… it is when you eat it that it becomes obvious that there isn’t much cream in this ice cream. It actually melts in your mouth… like powdered sugar…

Yup. It’s like eating frozen, mint flavored powdered sugar with bits of chocolate in it…
Great for those days you need a sugar buzz but certainly not ice cream.

Just finished part seven of my fic “The Two” and posted it to the appropriate places. Now I just need to finish one scene and revise several others and I’ll be done with the next part of “Red Raider”… Yeah!
